Job summary

Revive Environmental in Columbus, OH, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design across our SCWO-based technology portfolio, including Annihilator systems and GAC RENEW. This role focuses on high-pressure piping and vessels, metallurgy, fabrication optimization, and major rotating equipment selection, with ownership of outcomes in a fast-paced startup.

Qualifications

• 10 (preferably 15) years of mechanical engineering experience in pressure piping and pressure vessel design.
• Experience in high-pressure, high-temperature, or hazardous waste treatment systems.
• Knowledge of ASME B31.3 and ASME Section VIII codes.
• Strong safety record; ability to operate in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify high-pressure piping systems and pressure vessels for SCWO service.
• Lead design reviews for new piping and vessel packages.
• Perform life assessments on fielded pressure equipment.
• Evaluate materials and drive changes to extend equipment life.
• Provide troubleshooting support and root-cause analysis for mechanical equipment.
