Energy Jobline ZR in Little Canada, MN is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, optimization, and validation of advanced mobile mechanical systems for demanding industrial and oil & gas applications. This hands-on role emphasizes problem solving, creativity, and building equipment that performs reliably under high load and high-cycle conditions.

The position is 100% on-site at our Minneapolis–St.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s a plus).
• 5+ years of mechanical design experience in heavy mobile equipment.
• Proficiency in Inventor, Pro-E/Creo, or SolidWorks for large assemblies.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and drivetrains.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, optimization, and validation of advanced mobile systems.
• Develop hydraulic circuits, structural frames, and power-train components.
• Produce detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings.
• Support prototype builds, testing, and design verification.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure field readiness.
