Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in San Francisco or Sacramento. You’ll design large healthcare projects, lead technical efforts, and work within a global firm of 100+ engineers, contributing to projects from concept through construction.

The role emphasizes strong coordination with architectural, structural, electrical, and telecom teams, with expertise in AutoCAD and REVIT. PE registration is required and LEED AP is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Current PE registration as Mechanical Engineer required.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 8+ years in a consulting firm, healthcare project experience preferred.
• LEED AP accreditation highly preferred.
• Strong ability to coordinate mechanical systems with architectural, structural, electrical, and telecom.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Firm in client, contractor, architect interactions and lead technical design.
• Design large projects and prepare reports and specifications.
• Provide consulting services including due diligence and feasibility analyses.
• developing sustainable mechanical solutions and detailed drawings.
• Coordinate with design team, owner, and contractors; establish design standards.
