Job summary
Syska Hennessy Group in San Francisco, CA (and Sacramento) seeks a Supervising Electrical Engineer/Designer to lead critical facilities projects and act as Engineer of Record on assigned work. You will supervise staff, coordinate with clients, architects, and contractors, and drive design excellence on high-profile MEP projects.
The role requires a PE license, 12+ years of project management experience, and strong CAD/REVIT skills.
Qualifications
- Must have a PE registration and critical facilities design experience.
- 12+ years of project management experience.
- 10+ years of experience in a consulting firm in the MEP Engineering Industry; Senior level role.
- 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Hands-on design with CAD/REVIT and direction of staff.
Responsibilities
- Be the Engineer of Record on dedicated projects and supervise coordination meetings.
- Lead and supervise staff as they perform tasks; participate in budgeting, scheduling, and staff management.
- Provide periodic objective employee evaluations and manage project invoices and accounts receivable.
- Coordinate projects among engineering team, clients, and contractors; establish design standards and criteria.
- Prepare proposals and administer project contracts; supervise coordination meetings.
