Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
• 6 years of experience on HDD projects with mechanical equipment.
• PE license and coursework in Numerical Modeling or Finite Elements.
• Proficient using engineering software listed above and able to mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Analyze proposed trenchless crossings to determine equipment and methods.
• Analyze pipe stresses and soil properties for trenchless crossings.
• Produce HDD plan/profile designs, calculations, and layouts.
• Prepare proposals, estimates, and bid documents with mechanical analysis.
• Provide field engineering support and budget tracking for HDD projects.
• Oversee HDD project mechanical engineering aspects from pre-construction to closeout.
