Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 6 years of HDD experience.
• Experience with MathCAD, ArcGIS, MODFLOW, FLAC, Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, Plaxis.
• PE license and coursework in Numerical Modeling or Finite Elements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze proposed trenchless crossings to select equipment and methods.
• Develop HDD plan/profile designs and engineering calculations.
• Prepare proposals, estimates, and bid documents with mechanical analysis.
• Provide field engineering support and budget tracking on HDD projects.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure work meets plans and safety guidelines.
• Maintain project documentation and review staff deliverables.
• Investigate equipment failures and recommend remedies.
