Job summary

GeoWorld seeks an experienced Civil Project Engineer (P.E.) to lead engineering deliverables in HDD and directional boring projects. Responsibilities include designing and stamping plans for HDD crossings under USACE-regulated infrastructure, managing project scope and quality, and mentoring junior engineers.

The ideal candidate has a valid Texas P.E. license, at least 5 years of related experience, and strong communication skills. The position offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Texas required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil or utility infrastructure engineering.
• Experience designing HDD crossings under regulated infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and stamp engineering plans for HDD crossings.
• Manage technical scope, schedule, and quality for permitting.
• Conduct site visits and verify compliance with plans.

Skills

Hands-on experience in HDD design

Strong written and verbal communication

Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation

Knowledge of USACE Section 408 permitting

Education

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
