Job summary

EUV Tech is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design, assemble, and commission semiconductor metrology equipment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, electrical, and physics to prototype tools for next-gen EUV/soft x-ray instrumentation.

The role involves hands-on assembly, 3D printing, and tooling in a fast-paced startup environment. You will create BOMs, coordinate external vendors, ensure design quality, and conduct feasibility and testing to validate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Experience with mechanical design of large assemblies is required.
• Experience with revision control software (e.g., PDM) is required.

Responsibilities

• Produce models, detailed parts, and drawings for fabrication of metrology equipment.
• Collaborate with software, electrical, systems, and physicists to design full tool prototypes.
• Lead assembly and installation of instruments, including rapid prototyping and clean room tooling.
• Create BOMs and coordinate procurement with vendors while managing timelines.
• Support design validation through testing and feasibility studies.
• Perform FEA including thermal, vibrational, and stress analyses.
