Role Overview

CMTA, a Legence Company, is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Energy Solutions division in Baltimore, MD. This division is rapidly growing and focuses on sustainable, high-performance building engineering, including performance contracting, zero energy projects, and HVAC design and commissioning.

Responsibilities

1. Lead performance contracts from conception to completion, serving as the primary client contact.
2. Explain and promote performance contracting to potential clients, highlighting CMTA's unique approach.
3. Conduct site visits, audits, and energy calculations during development phases.
4. Oversee the engineering design team in producing drawings and specifications.
5. Manage the bidding process and develop final contracts with clients.
6. Coordinate with construction managers to ensure smooth project execution.
7. Lead commissioning and participate during warranty phases as needed.
8. Collaborate with M&V professionals to develop the first-year M&V report.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience with an Energy Services company or a consulting engineering/commissioning firm.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
