Job summary

Konami Gaming, Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, test and document mechanical components for gaming devices.

You will optimize sheet metal enclosures, injection molded parts, and assemblies, and generate detailed drawings and BOMs for production. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, 8+ years of experience, familiarity with Pro/Engineer, GD&T, AutoCAD, and ability to obtain gaming licensure.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or higher; equivalent education/experience.
Mechanical engineering certificate or technical certification.
Eight+ years completing design projects with solid modeling and sheet metal experience; injection molding and machining.
Knowledge of gaming regulations; experience with Pro Engineer, GD&T and AutoCAD.
Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of the business.
Must be able to obtain and maintain Gaming licensure(s).
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents.

Responsibilities

Design parts and assemblies for gaming devices; sheet metal enclosures; injection molded parts.
Generate BOMs and electro-mechanical assemblies.
Create engineering drawings per industry standards.
Manage projects from conception to completion; document progress.
Test, modify and release designs for production with engineering documentation.
Prepare reports and present findings to managers.
