Job summary

Easy Aerial, a Brooklyn-based leader in autonomous Drone-in-a-Box systems, is seeking a senior Mechanical Engineer to lead design from concept through production across UAV platforms.

You will own mechanical system development, run simulations, oversee prototyping, and collaborate across small teams to push product advancement in a fast-paced startup environment. Strong aerospace experience and MIL-STD familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Aerospace Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 8+ years’ mechanical design/analysis in aerospace/defense for UAVs.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD and ISO/AS standards is desired.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components and systems for autonomous drone platforms, ensuring manufacturability.
• Translate requirements into robust design guidelines and solutions.
• Perform stress, thermal, and vibration simulations to validate designs.
