Job summary

Bristol Infrastructure Design Services, LLC in the United States is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support Navy facilities. The role focuses on mechanical design for HVAC, piping, energy systems, and large government projects.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience, ABET-accredited mechanical engineering degree, and PE registration, with knowledge of DoD standards and AUTOCAD/REVIT proficiency. On-site work in NAVFAC contexts is expected.

Qualifications

• PE registration and mechanical engineering expertise for complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of DoD/Navy standards and relevant codes.
• Experience leading multi-discipline teams on major facilities.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit for design documents.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical designs and plans for HVAC, piping, and energy systems.
• Lead design teams and coordinate with other disciplines on NAVFAC projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and DoD requirements throughout design.
• Prepare analyses and present findings to stakeholders and clients.
