Job summary

Bristol Infrastructure Design Services, LLC is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the Department of the Navy.

Typical projects include mechanical engineering for plumbing, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems; digital data controls/instrumentation and control systems, chilled water, steam, hot water, compressed gasses, natural gas, fuel distribution and storage, energy saving and conversion systems, renewable energy/energy efficient systems/studies, and power

Qualifications

• PE license in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• ABET Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with DoD/Navy specifications, codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical design for HVAC, plumbing, energy and power systems for government facilities.
• Develop designs for complex mechanical utility systems and large-scale projects.
• Coordinate with architects and other engineers to meet codes and performance goals.
• Prepare and present design calculations and reports.
