Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in central utility plants, district energy, boiler plants, and steam distribution.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or eligibility by comity in the US.
• Ability to independently lead planning, analysis, and design of medium- and high-pressure steam, condensate, and hot/chilled water systems.
• Advanced knowledge of ASME B31.1, ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code, NFPA, and IMC.
• Proficiency in PFDs, P&IDs, control narratives, and sequences; strong building automation knowledge.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, assessment, and design of central utility plants and district energy systems.
• Develop utility master plans, feasibility studies, and condition assessments for modernization and decarbonization.
• Perform analyses and produce designs including calculations, layouts, PFDs, and P&IDs; prepare construction documents.
• Oversee cost estimates and GMP/GMAX pricing packages.
• Serve as Engineer of Responsible Charge; sign and seal engineering documents.
• Coordinate with architects, structural, electrical, and civil teams; manage scope and schedule.
