Northrop Grumman in Plymouth, MN seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support development and fabrication of medium caliber ammunition. You will provide mechanical design-to-production engineering, guide distributed teams, and collaborate across Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality and Test. Requirements include a B.S.

in Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years' experience, ability to lead tasks, strong communication, and eligibility for U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

BS in Mechanical Engineering or STEM discipline.
5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
Ability to guide tasks and mentor team members.
U.S. Citizenship and security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

Provide mechanical design-to-production engineering support for ammunition products.
Lead distributed manufacturing and test locations with direction to ensure quality.
Research and resolve complex design/manufacturing issues.
Develop and document manufacturing processes and tooling requirements.
Coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, and Test teams.
