Job summary

Rowan Digital Infrastructure seeks a Mechanical Engineer to support data center design and construction across the project portfolio. The role blends design and field engineering, with focus on cooling systems, HVAC, plumbing, and controls, plus collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical engineering degree, 3+ years in data center MEP design, and hands-on field experience. This hybrid Denver role offers competitive pay, bonus potential, and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Accredited bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; EIT or sustainable design accreditation preferred.
• 3+ years in data center MEP design or similar.
• Hands-on field construction experience with HVAC and Plumbing.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Procore, AutoDesk Forma, and Blue Beam Revu.
• Knowledge of BMS/EMS and sustainability guidelines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support design managers and MEP engineers in mechanical, plumbing, and controls for data center cooling.
• Coordinate and integrate customer design requirements for each project.
• Assist on-site during construction to ensure conformance with designs and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize constructability.
• Assist third-party design engineers with CDs, specifications, and performance modeling.
• Review contractor work, submittals, and RFIs for Rowan standards.
• Identify risks across project lifecycle from origination to operation.
• Support other technical tasks as needed.
