Job summary

Carlisle is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to lead capital equipment projects across operating sites. You will own projects from concept to commissioning, serving as a technical leader for Operations, Maintenance, EH&S, and plant leadership.

You will mentor engineers, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while delivering robust engineering solutions and optimized capital investments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (required).
• Minimum 7+ years in mechanical engineering in manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Minimum 3+ years managing capital projects or equivalent leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, specification, and procurement of manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Manage capital projects from initiation through completion, including scope, budget, and schedule.
• Coordinate contractors/vendors and internal resources during project execution.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for existing equipment and processes.
• Mentor plant engineers and collaborate with Operations, EH&S, and leadership.
• Drive process improvements and validate new equipment and systems.
