Advantage Technical is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to design, prototype, test, and deploy automated test and measurement solutions for large-scale projects in Austin. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet complex customer requirements and drive technical reviews and timelines.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics and 8+ years’ design experience, with Creo CAD proficiency and strong GD&T knowledge.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• 8+ years of mechanical design experience.
• Proficiency with 2D/3D CAD software (Creo preferred).
• Strong GD&T and mechanical design principles.
• Experience creating technical documentation and SOWs.
• Excellent communication and project leadership skills.
• ITAR eligibility requirements.

Aufgaben

• Develop requirements documents, specifications, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Design, model, prototype, and test mechanical components and systems.
• Manage project timelines, milestones, and technical reviews.
• Support deployment of automated test and measurement solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and external suppliers.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and recommend effective solutions.
• Travel up to 25% as needed for project support.
