Job summary

Employee Workplace in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to design, prototype, test, and deploy automated test and measurement systems for diverse customer requirements.

You will lead cross-functional teams, own specifications and SOWs, ensure GD&T compliance, manage schedules, and travel up to 25% to support projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• 8+ years of mechanical design experience.
• Proficiency with 2D/3D CAD software (Creo preferred).
• Strong understanding of GD&T and mechanical design principles.
• Experience creating technical documentation and SOWs.
• Excellent communication and project leadership skills.
• Experience with fixture/tool design, FMEA, root cause analysis, fabrication processes, or thermal/stress analysis is a plus
• Must meet ITAR eligibility requirements
