STV is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Douglassville, PA, to lead design of facilities mechanical systems across healthcare, education, municipal, industrial, federal, and science/tech markets. You will coordinate with a multidisciplinary team through planning to construction documents, developing contract plans, specs, and engineering calculations.

You should bring a PE license, ABET‑accredited engineering degree, at least 15 years of experience in large building systems, and strong

Qualificações

• ABET-accredited Bachelor's in Architectural or Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional Engineering license is required; multi-state licensure is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of boiler and chiller system design, installation and commissioning.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC controls and control systems is a plus.
• Minimum 15 years in the design of engineering systems for large complex buildings.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• MS Office suite proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience using energy modeling software is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Produce contract documents including plans and specifications aligned with scope, schedule and fee.
• Prepare drawings and specifications per best practices and STV standards.
• Coordinate with architects and engineers on HVAC requirements.
• Conduct construction administration: RFIs, submittals, field inspections, inspection reports.
• Attend meetings with owners, contractors and design team members.
• Select HVAC equipment and create schedules, diagrams with sequences of operation.
• Perform heating, cooling and ventilation load analysis.
• Conduct energy use projections with energy analysis programs like TRACE/IES.
• Prepare LEED submissions and participate in design reviews with clients and authorities.
• Attend project interviews and contribute to proposals and man-hour estimates.
