STV Incorporated in Douglassville, PA is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead design of mechanical systems for healthcare, education, municipal and other markets. You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across planning through construction documents, driving high quality, energy-efficient designs.

The role emphasizes boiler/chiller system design, HVAC controls, and LEED-related analyses, with a requirement for strong communication and project leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architectural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited University.
• Professional Engineering license is a must; multiple state licenses a plus.
• Minimum of 15 years in the design of engineering systems for large, complex buildings.
• In-depth knowledge of boiler and chiller system design, installation, and commissioning.
• Experience with HVAC controls and control systems is a plus.
• Proficient with Revit and AutoCAD; energy modeling software experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Produce contract documents (plans and specs) aligned with scope, schedule and budget.
• Prepare drawings and specifications per best practices and STV standards.
• Coordinate with architects, structural, electrical, and plumbing teams on HVAC needs.
• Perform construction administration: RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, site inspections.
• Lead design reviews and interface with clients and authorities having jurisdiction.
• Support LEED submissions and project energy analyses.
