Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years in mechanical system design for commercial or institutional buildings.
• Requires Professional Engineer (PE) license recognized by the location's licensing board.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, MS Project and AutoCAD.
• Demonstrated leadership, team coordination and project management experience.
• Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the work of Mechanical Engineers within a multidisciplinary team throughout project development.
• Establish client relations and participate in meetings regarding mechanical systems.
• Lead mechanical aspects on various projects.
• Participate in design reviews for code compliance with authorities having jurisdiction.
• Conduct schematic, design development and contract document sessions with project stakeholders.
• Manage workload and schedule to complete documents on time.
• Monitor project financials and coordinate team efforts.
