Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. seeks an engineer to execute design analysis and evaluate projects using solid engineering methods. You will design and analyze composite structures, leveraging CATIA, ANSYS and in-house tools to assess loads and performance.

You will contribute to risk mitigation via DFMEA, participate in design reviews, and support production and quality investigations while enhancing blade design and defect handling processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university.
• Experience with design analysis and evaluation of projects using engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Execute design analysis or evaluation of assigned projects using solid engineering principles and standards.
• Perform design and analysis of composite structures with new load evaluations based on requests using CATIA, ANSYS & in-house tools.
• Identify design risks and mitigation plans through DFMEA for blade structures.
• Participate as presenter or reviewer in design reviews of the structure.
• Support production/quality issue investigations and interact with management or customers as needed.
• Improve blade acceptance criteria and assist factories with design or defect handling improvements.
• Handle engineering aspects of product deviations in production.
