Akkodis is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a hybrid role focusing on automotive display integration, including cockpit electronics such as In-Vehicle Infotainment, cluster, and central information displays. The engineer will design mechanical systems that meet customer specs and industry standards.

The role requires experience with packaging of automotive display products, CAD/PLM proficiency, and ownership of BoM.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 7 years in a mechanical engineering role in an OEM or Tier-1 automotive industry.
• Experience in packaging automotive display products or similar.
• Experience / exposure to CAD & PLM software (Teamcenter, CATIA, NX or similar)

Aufgaben

• Develops mechanical product designs for automotive displays integrated into instrument panels or seat backs.
• Owns BoM during development and for changes.
• Provides GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis; approves 3D & 2D drawings.
• Supports DFMEA creation and upkeep.
• Coordinates prototype and 3D printed parts for development and debugging.
• Travel to customer engineering centers and manufacturing sites as needed during product launch.
