Job summary

Hallmark is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a team responsible for the design and development of electro-mechanical automation equipment for production and fulfillment. The role involves design, start-up, troubleshooting, documentation, and training across a collaborative engineering group.

Responsibilities include prototyping, drawing creation, and leading executional evaluation while managing capital spending and coordinating with suppliers and end-users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• 8+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Experience with robotics and motion control systems (servo motors or pneumatics).
• Proficiency with CAD systems; Solid Edge preferred.
• OSHA/ANSI standards related to machine guarding and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and drive conceptualization of solutions, specify performance, and integrate within the operating environment.
• Create machine part and assembly drawings for fabrication, installation, and maintenance.
• Lead prototyping, troubleshooting, assembly, and evaluation.
• Manage capital spending, design systems, network with end-users and suppliers, source components, and meet aggressive schedules.
