Job summary

Hallmark is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer for its Liberty, MO distribution center. You will join a team of mechanical and electrical engineers designing production and fulfillment equipment, leading prototyping, troubleshooting, and documentation efforts.

The role emphasizes collaboration across departments, meeting aggressive schedules, and partnering with suppliers. A BS in mechanical engineering and at least 2 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in an engineering role to demonstrate mastery of the responsibilities outlined

Responsibilities

• Participating in and often driving the conceptualization of solutions, collaboration with peers, specification of performance, and integration within the operating environment.
• Creating machine part and assembly drawings as required for fabrication, installation, and maintenance of equipment.
• Leading prototyping, troubleshooting, assembly, and executional evaluation.
• Accountability for managing capital spending, designing systems, networking with end-users, partnering with external suppliers and consultants, sourcing parts and other components, adhering to aggressive schedules, and working closely with our technician team.
