Job summary

Marotta Controls in Parsippany, NJ is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to advance automated test equipment for Power/Control Actuation Systems and Space/Marine lines. You will design test stations, ITAs, cables, fixtures, and load rigs for DVT, Qual, ATP, and ESS testing, while coordinating with NPD through production.

The role demands 5+ years in ATE mechanical development, strong drafting, 3D modeling, and proficiency with MIL/ASME/ISO standards. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in ME.
• 5+ years of formal ATE mechanical development experience.
• Experience with mechanical design of test stations, ITAs, cables, and interconnect diagrams.
• US citizenship may be required.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test stations, ITAs, interface adapters, cables, fixtures, and load rigs for DVT/Qual/ATP/ESS testing.
• Prepare rack drawings, interconnect diagrams, parts lists, and TE validation materials.
• Handle configuration management, estimation, and technical presentation packages.
• Collaborate with new product development from development to production.
