Job summary

The Senior Mechanical Engineer at Deer Park Refining Limited Partnership will provide engineering support to the assigned production area, delivering year‑on‑year improvements to asset integrity and equipment reliability while ensuring safe operations and environmental compliance.

This role requires strong collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, and Central Engineering, with responsibilities spanning maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and process safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in a related manufacturing industry.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills; CMRP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to the assigned production area and deliver year-on-year improvements to asset integrity and equipment reliability.
• Lead maintenance and reliability initiatives to improve asset care and uptime.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Central Engineering to plan, execute, and optimize maintenance activities.
• Support safety and environmental performance through technical delivery and problem solving.
