Job summary

PEMEX Deer Park is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to provide engineering support for the assigned production area, deliver year-on-year improvements to asset integrity and equipment reliability, and own stationary and rotating equipment within operating units.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, at least five years in a related manufacturing environment, and strong knowledge of reliability, maintenance, MOC, and problem solving.

Qualifications

• Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in a related manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of Reliability Centered Maintenance, Management of Change, and structured problem solving.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to the assigned production area and deliver year-on-year improvements to asset integrity and reliability of equipment.
• Own static and rotating equipment within their operating units.
• Work with Operations and Maintenance to solve day-to-day problems, ensuring safe and reliable unit operation.
• Lead pre-startup safety reviews and commissioning activities.
