Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Plano, TX to provide design engineering and integration/test support for an airborne sensor product development effort. The role involves mechanical design, documentation, supplier coordination, and manufacturing support across multiple sites in the US.

You will work with Creo MCAD, GD&T, and engineering standards to deliver complex mechanical solutions for RF sensors and electronics, with travel to suppliers and program offices as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with design and manufacturing of electronics packaging for aerospace applications.
• Experience with GD&T, ANSI drawing standards, and Creo MCAD drawing standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical design and documentation for antennas, RF sensors, electronics, and subsystems.
• Use PTC Creo Parametric CAD and apply GD&T for documentation and fabrication.
• Collaborate with leadership to meet design objectives and provide technical solutions.
