Parker Hannifin's Aerospace Group in Simi Valley is seeking a Mechanical Engineer 3 to research, design, and test cable product components, and to develop solutions within defense, aerospace, and energy markets.

You will mentor junior engineers, ensure design objectives meet cost and schedule constraints, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across marketing, engineering, supplier management, and manufacturing to deliver robust cable products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; master's preferred.
• 7+ years of mechanical engineering experience.
• 5+ years in aerospace environment.
• Proficient with SolidWorks and standard design tools.

Responsabilités

• Apply engineering design process to develop cable product specifications.
• Investigate design factors such as function, materials, cost, and performance.
• Develop and validate technical documentation and tests.
• Mentor new employees and share specialized knowledge.
• Support existing cable products and project milestones.
