Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation, including Parker Meggitt’s fire safety and aerospace focus, seeks a Quality Engineer 2 in Simi Valley to drive the Quality Management System and ensure conformance to engineering drawings, specs, and aviation regulations.

You will collaborate across functions, lead audits, and implement corrective actions while supporting manufacturing process control and product testing in a high‑reliability aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quality, engineering, or a technical field.
• 3+ years as a manufacturing quality engineer or related role.
• ASQ Quality Engineer certification is a plus.
• Experience maintaining AS9100/ISO 9001 QMS.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve the Quality Management System for assigned product lines.
• Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with suppliers and customers.
• Create inspection plans, control plans, and PFMEAs; perform root cause analysis.
• Support audits, investigations, and corrective actions to reduce escapes and rejections.
