AtmosZero in Loveland, Colorado, is seeking an Engineer II/III or Senior Engineer I to own mechanical integration for the 1 MW Boiler 2.0 compressor package. You will work onsite with the engineering team to define interfaces, ensure reliability, and guide production readiness from concept through validation.

The role requires strong mechanical design fundamentals, CAD proficiency, and collaboration with suppliers and test teams to deliver manufacturable, serviceable designs for a modular heat

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Experience from requirements through release, fabrication, assembly, test, and troubleshooting.
• Production-quality CAD, drawings, BOMs, interface-control documentation, and engineering changes.

Mansioni

• Own mechanical integration of the compressor and high-speed rotating assembly into the 1 MW product.
• Develop and maintain compressor-package models, drawings, interface definitions, bills of material, and installation requirements.
• Coordinate bearings, seals, shafts, housings, motors, instrumentation, mounting, piping connections, alignment, guarding, and service access.
• Support compressor procurement, supplier reviews, fabrication, assembly, installation, commissioning, and testing.
• Diagnose mechanical and interface issues with the Turbomachinery Engineer, suppliers, technicians, test engineers, and external specialists.
• Create and close compressor-related ECOs, drawing revisions, deviations, and configuration-control records.
• Translate first-of-a-kind learning into manufacturable, reliable, and serviceable production designs.
• Lead or support tolerance analysis, rotor-package interface reviews, DFMEA, technical risk reduction, and supplier qualification.
