Job description

Overview:

Our client is a well-established consulting engineering firm that is a national pioneer in the development of net zero energy buildings. They are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team within the South Carolina market!

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Lead all aspects of the performance contracting projects lifecycle and be the main point of contact for their clients.
2. Lead the development phase regarding the design layouts of mechanical systems, conduct building system audits, energy analysis, and savings calculations.
3. Direct the bidding process with internal team members, and collaborate with the client to develop the final contract.
4. Identify and resolve conflicts as they arise.
5. Create and maintain customer relationships.
6. Direct the commissioning and M&V teams.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET-accredited institution. PE & CEM certifications are required.
2. 5+ years of experience in MEP and/or with an Energy Services company.
3. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
4. Strong leadership and communication skills.
5. Proficiency with AutoCAD and REVIT software.
