Job summary

Tenova Inc. is seeking a Professional in the Technical Services department to join a team focused on Melt Shops technologies in Coraopolis, PA.

The role emphasizes producing accurate 2D drawings and 3D models, BOMs, and layouts for proposals and projects. The candidate should have at least 5 years of drafting experience, proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and Inventor 3D, strong communication skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in an international engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical diploma in Mechanical Drafting, CAD Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of relevant drafting experience.
• Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD 2D and Autodesk Inventor 3D.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.

Responsibilities

• Generate accurate 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
• Produce 2D drawings from sketches and layouts.
• Calculate weights and locate center of gravity of parts/assemblies.
• Generate BOMs and parts lists.
• Apply dimensions, tolerances, fits, weld symbols, and surface finish requirements.
• Create layouts, general arrangements, fabrication and assembly drawings.
• Revise drawings based on comments and markup.
• Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models for technical proposals.
