KFI Engineers is seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer to lead the production of AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit and general arrangement drawings for manufacturing projects in Cincinnati, OH. This senior role emphasizes independent work, mentoring junior designers, and contributing to project management.

Responsibilities include leading major design tasks, coordinating with multiple disciplines, and ensuring quality construction documents while strengthening client relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10+ years of design experience.
• Expertise in 3D design, mechanical general arrangements, piping systems, and piping & instrumentation diagrams.

Responsabilités

• Create comprehensive project drawings, including General Arrangements, PIDs, 3D models, piping, and Isometrics.
• Design complete systems for assigned projects, managing the drawing documents.
• Coordinate work with stakeholders, provide technical support and guidance to junior staff.
• Schedule and lead design meetings, drawing reviews, and represent KFI at project meetings.
• Plan and execute field work, gather accurate information for site visits.
• Estimate project hours, scope of work, and contribute to budget and schedule.
• Provide leadership, mentoring junior designers and contributing to project management.
• Lead entire projects from inception to completion and improve processes.
