Job summary

Cuhaci & Peterson Architects, Engineers & Planners, Inc. seeks a Mechanical Designer III in Orlando to execute design tasks for mechanical systems, lead junior staff, and coordinate with project leadership on scope, budgets and scheduling.

You will apply strong knowledge of building codes and client communications while delivering complete construction documents and ensuring project success.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years minimum experience or equivalent.
• EIT preferred or professional engineer supervision acceptable.
• Experience in mechanical systems design and compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Able to complete the Mechanical Designer III job requirements.
• Competent with discipline codes and building codes.
• Strong verbal and written communication; capable of client education.
• Lead design discussions with Project Engineer/Manager on scope, budget and schedule.
• Prepare budgets and schedules; estimate man-hours; supervise designers.
