Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive mechanical design experience in HVAC or related fields.
• Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks and 2D CAD.
• Ability to model complex assemblies and establish design standards.
• Experience guiding designers and collaborating with fabrication teams.
• Strong organizational/documentation skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead 3D modeling of HVAC equipment and assemblies meeting design intent.
• Drive advanced sheet metal design and proper modeling techniques.
• Oversee complete manufacturing packages with shop drawings and docs.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams.
• Manage design data, revisions, and BOMs with configuration control.
• Mentor junior designers and provide design guidance.
• Develop production and installation methodologies and manuals.
• Create installation and maintenance drawings for end users.
