• Senior Chemical/Mechanical Designer

Overview:

As a Senior Mechanical Designer, you will work at a manufacturing plant in Boise, Idaho, focusing on expanding and optimizing facility operations. The role involves drafting as-built pipe and equipment layouts, engaging in on-site assessments, and using AutoCAD/REVIT for detailed drawings. It requires a mix of fieldwork and detailed measurements, offering opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications:

• Local on-site position with regular site visits for field condition verification and ensuring design alignment with project specifications.
• Effective coordination with project teams to ensure design and as-built accuracy.
• Provision of clear, accurate 2D/REVIT drawings following site standards.
• Verification, updating, and drafting of piping, equipment plans, and P&IDs.
• Experience in creating detailed piping plans, flow diagrams, and isometric views.
• Ability to produce detailed design packages and participate in design reviews.
• Experience in semiconductor or high-tech facility systems is preferred.
• Leadership and mentorship abilities, understanding of codes and standards.
• Extensive experience with Revit and AutoCAD.
• Ability to lead design efforts and coordinate across disciplines.
• Physical ability to perform site visits and field verifications.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to walk long distances, sit, stand, bend, crawl, climb ladders, and lift up to 25 lbs.
