Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) seeks a Sr. System Design Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design and development of server and AI infrastructure from concept through volume production, tackling thermal and mechanical challenges.

Based in Secaucus, NJ, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams across mechanical, thermal, and electrical disciplines to deliver robust, scalable solutions. You’ll mentor engineers and champion DFM/DFR and best practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven leadership across multiple complex programs with DFM/DFA and supplier engagement.
• Experience with high-volume manufacturing and design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead mechanical design for server and AI infrastructure initiatives.
• Collaborate across mechanical, thermal, electrical teams to meet performance targets.
• Lead design reviews; mentor junior engineers; advance manufacturability and reliability.
• Drive tolerance analyses, Creo/ SolidWorks modeling, and system-level solutions.
