Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of mechanical/electromechanical design experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced proficiency with SolidWorks including complex assemblies and tolerance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex product design and realization from concept handoff through production release, establishing a practical technical approach when requirements are not fully defined.
• Apply advanced mechanical design and DFx expertise to balance performance, materials, tolerances, manufacturability, and lifecycle requirements.
• Develop and release complete product definitions using SolidWorks, including BOMs and manufacturing documentation.
• Lead engineering changes, product configurations, VAVE initiatives, and production improvements.
• Lead technical reviews and provide guidance on design decisions, risks, and downstream impact.
• Contribute to design standards and DFx guidance in partnership with Engineering Management.
