You will build dynamic FEA models, automate simulation workflows in ANSYS and MATLAB, validate designs with LDV and test instrumentation, and mentor cross-functional teams while

Qualifications

• Lead the design and development of Head Gimbal Assemblies (HGA), flexures, suspensions, and micro-actuated mechanical subsystems from concept through validation.
• Develop novel mechanical solutions addressing bandwidth, resonance, stiffness, and damping in precision motion systems.
• Apply fundamentals in dynamics and structures to guide design decisions where templates are insufficient.

Responsabilités

• Build dynamic and structural FEA models to predict vibration, modal behavior, actuation response, and system interactions.
• Develop and maintain automated simulation workflows using ANSYS/HyperWorks/MATLAB.
• Validate designs through experiments and correlation to models.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to best practices in modeling and testing.
