Job summary

Maverick Power is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to design and produce power distribution and control systems for customers worldwide. You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to develop robust, manufacturable assemblies for low- and medium-voltage gear.

You will apply your 10+ years of mechanical design experience, strong 3D CAD skills (SolidWorks preferred), and knowledge of BOMs, drawings, and testing plans to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Technology.
• Minimum of 10 years mechanical design experience.
• Experience with low/medium-voltage switchgear assemblies.
• Experience with BOMs, drawings, and testing plans.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design for low and medium voltage switchgear, switchboards, panel boards, and control panels.
• Evaluate drawings and specifications to meet customer requirements.
• Develop test plans for product validation and certification.
• Lead interactions with internal and external teams to determine optimum solutions.
