Job summary

Rivian is seeking a highly capable mechanical engineer to lead the development of infotainment hardware, including displays, microphones, speakers and amplifiers, within the vehicle. You will work with electrical hardware teams and external vendors to design, test and integrate modules across the EV platform.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in mechanical engineering or relevant equivalent experience.
• Experience designing components and/or systems including Speakers, Microphones, Amplifiers, Displays, Brackets.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical development of infotainment modules within the electrical hardware team.
• Define component requirements and perform trade studies for ergonomics, manufacturability and design.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to integrate modules into the vehicle.
