Job summary

Rivian is seeking an Audio Systems Test Integration Engineer to own the physical engineering environment and test infrastructure for the Audio Team in Palo Alto. In this RIV-5 level role, you will design fixtures, manage the vehicle software state, and maintain the lab and bench environments necessary for development and validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent.
• 3+ years in audio hardware product development or systems integration.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Test Environment Enablement: Independently manage and resolve complex issues related to audio development benches and HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) rigs.
• Engineering Hardware Support: Perform characterizations of components using Klippel, Audio Precision, Soundcheck, and other test platforms.
• Mechanical & Fixture Design: Design custom test fixtures and acoustic enclosures using CATIA/NX/Solidworks.
• QA Support & Test Execution: Execute established test suites on physical hardware under guidance of QA Engineer.
• Operational Autonomy: Work with a high degree of independence and maintain lab safety and data integrity.
