Job summary

Investigo in San Francisco is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to own and drive electro-mechanical product development from concept through production. You will shape architecture, guide CAD work, prototypes, and testing across the full lifecycle.

Collaborating with electrical, software, reliability, and manufacturing teams, you will perform analyses to meet product goals and support Asian manufacturing.

Qualifications

• BSME or equivalent required.
• 5+ years in consumer product design with sensor/electronics integration.
• Experience with high-volume consumer products and Asia manufacturing.
• Proficient in 3D CAD (Solidworks, NX, Creo).
• Knowledge of DFM/DFA and GD&T.
• Willingness to travel to China.

Responsibilities

• Own, architect, and design complex electromechanical systems.
• Drive designs across development lifecycle to production.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, reliability, and manufacturing teams.
• Perform thermal, fluid, and structural analyses to meet goals.
• Work with industrial design, marketing, product teams, and leadership.
