Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of mechanical design experience for production machinery.
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and/or Inventor, AutoCAD, GD&T.
• Experience with automation systems, robotics, material handling, and system integration.
• Excellent project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop machine design concepts, detailed mechanical designs and specs.
• Design and support prototype and production equipment through build and startup.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and process equipment issues and implement robust solutions.
• Identify equipment design improvements and validate via tests.
• Coordinate with external machine builders, system integrators, and suppliers.
• Prepare and review construction and installation drawings with as-built docs.
• Support projects for equipment installation, capacity expansion, and handoff.
• Track project schedules and expenditures; report to stakeholders.
