Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Levico Terme (TN)

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer is the role that contributes to the development of new products and customized systems, operating both independently and within the multi-purpose project team, with the aim of satisfying the customer's needs, respecting quality, predefined effectiveness and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to customer satisfaction, in terms of results achieved, compliance with deadlines, attention to continuous improvement;
• Manage the assigned activities in compliance with the workflows and the programmed objectives.

Activities

• Analysis and in-depth analysis of customer requests, shared with the manager;
• Mechanical design with the aid of 3D CAD, according to the specific requests, in compliance with technical standards, provisions and internal procedures, agreed times;
• Execution of the machine program, using simulation SW;
• Creation of project documentation - master data of materials, bills of materials, construction drawings, assembly drawings and diagrams, instructions, special layouts and diagrams, etc. - making sure that it is clear and complete, especially for the management of the phases following the design (assembly, testing and installation);
• Punctual updating of the documentation according to any changes;
• In-depth analysis of market trends and the positioning of the main competitors.

Must have:

• Diploma of mechanical engineer or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering;
• Mastery of mechanical technical drawing; Good knowledge and strong motivation in the use of CAD/CAM design systems (2D and 3D);
• Good knowledge of the English language (at least level B1 of the European reference framework);
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, marked by collaboration and constructive confrontation both with Manager and colleagues and with customers and suppliers.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge and use of SolidEdge CAD/CAM sw;
• Previous experience in the design and testing of molds and equipment for cold plastic deformation processing of metal materials;
• Knowledge of ERP management systems, preferably SAP.
