Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for the technical and mechanical design of market-released implantable Neuro devices. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional partners such as reliability, regulatory, operations, and sourcing colleagues to evaluate and implement design changes.

Qualifications

• Working level understanding of implantable procedures.
• Proficient knowledge of medical device industry standards, regulations compliance requirements.
• Experience conducting mechanical design including verification activities.

Responsibilities

Research, plan, design, verify, validate, and develop mechanical and/or electromechanical products and systems, such as metals, instruments, controls, plastics, robots, engines, machines, and systems for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy. Recommends technology options or approaches for system, process, facility, or program improvements focusing on safety, performance, efficiency, or costs. May oversee transfer from R&D to manufacturing.
