Your Opportunity

This part-time role is about making an impact on people's lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the IBOS (Stearns Roger Services within Outage Services) Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit. Your work will include:

• Mechanical Design Project Lead for design of commercial nuclear fuel handling equipment, for projects ranging from small to large
  


• Coordinates all mechanical design and engineering work and other preparations which will be required to implement the contract within budget/schedule for assigned projects
  


• Plans, organizes, implements and follows through to completion a solution to address client's need
  


• Represents the Company in communication with other organizations to resolve questions, plan, coordinate, and execute work
  


• May supervise/coordinate day-to-day project execution of mechanical engineers, designers, engineering technician in completion of specific project assignments

Your total rewards package

The range of base salary for the position is between $46.00 - $62.02 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
